The
"GAP" Powell/Bob Handloser Scholarship Foundation, Inc.
(501 C - 3 Charitable Trust) was
created in honor of George A. Powell (GAP) to benefit the
highest achievers in the California Lambda chapter, both academically
and in service to the fraternity. Currently funded through donations
and fundraisers, with a principal of more than $25,000, it has the
ability to do some real good for the active members of our house.
Over the last four years the Scholarship has helped fund the education
of over 30 brothers at the National Leadership School in Chicago.
